In Norse mythology, Gjallarhorn (Old Norse "yelling horn" or "the loud sounding horn") is a horn associated with the god Heimdallr and the wise being Mímir.
This blog is to record the progress of a Viking / Saxon / Dark Ages campaign we are running.
Have been a bit behind on everything lately, my daughter was ill in hospital for close to two weeks. She's up and well now so I thought I'd better get back to our hosts painting request. Here's the latest Mark.
Thanks Sean she is much better. Rasjutin the Viking Monk was a nice simple figure, the secret was not to use much black. The base colour was Vallejo German Grey lightened with Dark Sea Grey and a little yellow in his hair to give it that lank unwashed look but I always feel the real credit goes to who ever sculpted such a nice figure to start with.

Sorry to hear your daughter was so sick, glad she is better. I particularly like the first picture, "Rasputin" looks great.
